Italy to provide $38m to UNRWA for Palestinians

Italy has pledged $38 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to support Palestinian refugees.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced this decision during a meeting in Rome with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa.

This funding will resume Italy's support for specific projects aimed at aiding Palestinian refugees.

UNRWA employs 13,000 people in Gaza, providing essential services such as education, primary healthcare, and humanitarian aid distribution.

This financial commitment highlights Italy's ongoing dedication to supporting Palestinian communities.
