Erkan Yolaç's wife Asuman Tuğberk Yolaç passed away

Erkan Yolaç, a renowned figure in the television industry, tragically passed away on May 16. 

Soon after, his wife and former Miss Türkiye 1970, Asuman Tuğberk Yolaç, also succumbed. 

She had been battling cancer and passed away at the age of 72.


The Yolaç Family released a statement confirming the heartbreaking news, reflecting on Asuman's achievements notably after winning Miss Turkey in 1970. 

Asuman continued her journey as a fashion model and designer, collaborating with her husband Erkan whom she married in 1976. 

Together, they established Yolaç AŞ and she also co-hosted the Erkan Yolaç Show for an extended period.


Asuman Tuğberk and Erkan Yolaç, who shared a life together for 48 years since their marriage in 1976, are survived by their two children, Mehmet and Göksu. 

The family has announced that Asuman's funeral will take place at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque following the noon prayer on Tuesday, June 4th.

Taylor Knibb, a triathlete, stunned the field by winning the women's time trial national title at the USA Cycling Pro Road Championships.

   This victory not only earned her a spot with USA Cycling for the Paris Olympic Games but also marked her first elite women's time trial national title.
