Man Charged with Murder of Woman on Beach Appears in Court

A 20-year-old man, Nasen Saadi, has been charged with the murder of Amie Gray, a 34-year-old personal trainer, who was fatally stabbed on Durley Chine Beach in Bournemouth. Saadi also faces charges of attempted murder for the stabbing of Leanne Miles, 38, who survived the attack with serious injuries.
Saadi appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody. His next appearance is scheduled for Tuesday at Winchester Crown Court.
The attack occurred on May 24 at around 23:45 BST, leaving Amie Gray dead at the scene and Leanne Miles hospitalized. Miles was discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
Amie Gray's wife, Sian, described her as a loving wife and mother, while her mother, Sharon Macklin, remembered her as an amazing, funny, and kind person with an energetic soul. Dorset Futsal Club, where Gray served as head coach, expressed their devastation at her loss, crediting her dedication and hard work for the team's success.
The community is still reeling from the tragic loss of Amie Gray, and the case continues to unfold as Saadi faces justice for his alleged crimes.
