South Korea Issues Warning as North Korea Continues to Send Balloons Carrying 'Filth'

The South Korean government has urged the public to exercise caution and report any sightings of balloons sent from North Korea, which have been found to carry trash and excrement. The warning comes after hundreds of such balloons were sent across the border earlier this week, with North Korea vowing to continue the provocative act.
The balloons, which North Korea has dubbed "gifts of sincerity," have been condemned by South Korean Defence Minister Shin Won-sik as "unimaginably petty and low-grade behavior." The public has been advised not to touch the balloons and to report any sightings to the military or police.
The city of Seoul has broadcast a public message warning citizens to be vigilant and report any balloons spotted in the sky. Regional governments have also been asked to issue similar warnings. The move comes as North Korea continues to retaliate against a propaganda campaign by North Korean defectors and activists in South Korea, who have been sending balloons containing anti-Pyongyang leaflets and other materials across the border.
The ongoing balloon saga has heightened tensions between the two nations, with South Korea's military on high alert to respond to any further provocations. The public has been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious balloons to ensure the safety of all citizens.
