Ingrid Andress Flubs National Anthem Performance at Home Run Derby

In a recent mishap at the 2024 Home Run Derby, Ingrid Andress faced criticism for her performance of the national anthem.

The Grammy-nominated country singer, known for her past collaborations with major artists like Stevie Nicks and Keith Urban, received backlash online for missing several notes during her rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner.

" This performance drew comparisons to Fergie's infamous flub at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, with some describing Andress's rendition as one of the worst national anthem performances ever.

The incident occurred shortly after Andress announced her upcoming single, "Colorado 9," set for release on July 24, following her second album, "Good Person," released in August last year.

Despite this setback, Andress is scheduled to perform in Nashville and Denver in the coming days.

As a talented songwriter, Andress has contributed to tracks such as LANY's "I Didn't Lie," Charli XCX's "Boys," and Fletcher's "I Think I'm Growing.

" Her debut album, "Lady Like," earned her three Grammy nominations in 2021, showcasing her as one of the most promising female performers in country music.

Reflecting on her journey, Andress emphasizes the importance of authenticity and vulnerability in her music, believing in the power of honesty and genuine emotion.

With a strong presence in the music industry and a growing fan base, Andress continues to captivate audiences with her heartfelt performances and soulful songwriting.

Despite the recent stumble at the Home Run Derby, her talent and dedication to her craft remain unwavering as she navigates the highs and lows of a music career filled with both successes and challenges.
